Pre - negotiation
Most disputes can be resolved by negotiation between the parties and can be the most cost effective method of resolving disputes. But you need to prepare for a negotiation and understand the range of the outcomes. That's where we come in. We are not lawyers so we do not advise you on the legal merits of your dispute, but we offer a practical and pragmatic approach. We are best used where one of the outcomes could be the insolvency of the business or you.
Negotiation
We can add a lot of value if you are in dispute with a liquidator or trustee in bankruptcy. We can offer you an independent view on the merits of your claim as we make similar claims in our insolvency work. We can work with your lawyers or we have access to lawyers who specialise in insolvency disputes.
Mediation
Chris McKay is a CEDR accredited mediator operating in the Cambridge area who is able to undertake formal mediations. If all other means of resolving the dispute have failed and Court is the next stage, mediation services maybe the answer. Your solicitor will probably have suggested it as the way forward.
